The crown jewel of the Galadari empire is the Group’s Food and Beverage division, the largest division in the company headed up by CEO Ahmed Osman.

“We currently operate two brands,” Osman explains. “Our Flagship brand is Baskin Robbins, the first international QSR brand to enter region more than 4 decades ago. We operate close to 1,000 Baskin Robbins restaurants across the MENA region and Australia. Galadari F&B division owns and operates restaurants in all the markets except Australia which is sub franchise model. Dunkin Doughnuts is our second brand which we operate in Qatar, we plan to expand into new markets inline with our growth strategy.

Achieving Breakthrough Results During the Pandemic
Osman elaborates, “People are the most important asset of our organization” to achieve breakthrough results during an unprecedented pandemic era you need an exceptional team. “Safety & Wellbeing of our team and our customers was of paramount priority while ensuring business continuity following new restriction of every country we operate. Swift actions and creative solutions were the need of the hour to face the new reality and consumer behavioral changes to achieve breakthrough results during this extremely challenging period, I am honored to be part of this exceptional team who stepped up the game to overcome every single hurdle to achieve breakthrough results which is an exceptional achievement”

“For the first time in the history of Baskin Robbins we launch car hop service with QR code-based menu for the customers safety and comfort overnight. Our journey started in 2019 with the launch of delivery service and digital transformation with its infrastructure in place, however we had to shift gears to promote delivery service in every single consumer touchpoint, prompt action paid off especially during the lockdown where we achieved record sales. We also made sure brand presence in every single delivery aggregator and majority of Ecommerce platforms for consumers convenience. Contactless service was launched for the safety of our customers and staff.
Being consumer centric we felt that our customers was feeling the stress and pressure of the pandemic, keeping to our motto of spreading happiness we launched a Happiness pack which is a gifting option to family and friends.
Another remarkable milestone was opening 40 plus in restaurants across the region in 2020.
We not only managed to retain all our team but also invested in developing the team during this challenging period.
Giving Back to our Hero’s
Osman took the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of our frontline hero’s by sharing happiness across the region where Baskin Robbins delivered delicious ice cream to hospitals, police stations and others as a token of appreciation for the hard work they did while risking their own lives to protect all of us in every market where permission was granted.
Growth Strategy
It’s been an amazing journey so far Osman highlighted and we celebrated a record-breaking financial year in 2020 and our goal is to continue the momentum which encourage us to expedite our growth strategy by diversifying our portfolio & business offerings to deliver our commitment of enriching the lives of Guests every day.

While we aggressively expand through the markets that we operate in, we are also taking Baskin to new counties, we are proud to announce the opening of the first Baskin Robbins store in Morocco soon.
KyoChon, the largest authentic Korean friend chicken brand in Korea is the latest addition to our portfolio, will open its first restaurant in Dubai, UAE by Q4. Three locations have already been finalized in Dubai to open before year end and we plan to expand this brand across MENA region in a rapid pace. We are in discussion with few other premium international brands inline with our growth strategy.
