3D CMPT: Adidas Looks Beyond Limits

adidas Sport eyewear enters the future of manufacturing with its 3D frame made in partnership with Marcolin.

From the adidas DNA, characterized by an ongoing search for high-performance lines and materials, comes a frame destined to leave its mark on the evolution of eyewear thanks to the most modern technologies.

3D CMPT is the new limited-edition frame that adidas Sport eyewear created to go beyond the limits of design and comfort. A starting point for future boundaries in aesthetics and functionality.
The 3D CMPT frame produced with a new generation of 3D printers has a flexible nylon structure treated with a special coating that creates a rubberized effect on the entire texture surface.

The one-piece frame weighs just 20 grams and has an integrated spherical mirrored lens shield. Non-slip contact points on the nose pads and end tips give the frame an extremely comfortable fit, ensuring stability and dynamism during any type of training or competition.

In sport, and as in everyday life, the dynamic soul of the individual requires attention to detail. That attention and care has been translated into new shapes, weights, and volumes for sunglasses designed for game and play time.

The adidas Sport 3D CMPT frame opens a new dialogue with professional athletes and creates a new opportunity for innovative trailblazers.
Made in a limited quantity of 150 pcs, the 3D CMPT sunglasses will be available exclusively at adidas.com and during members week starting August 23rd, 2021.
